Windows Server 2012 Unidentified Network – No Internet Issue FIX

This weekend I was doing some cable management on of our equipment racks and accidently shut down a server by turning off a power strip.

When the server came back up there was no traffic on the network card. It showed up as unidentified network. The servers all have static addresses assigned to them, some of them have over 100 IP’s assigned to a NIC.

Moving Websites from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 

I was quite uneasy about the thought of moving my own and hosting clients websites to new servers with Windows server 2012 on them. Up until this month we have been hosting websites on Windows server 2003 (about 10 years). Even with the limitations of Server 2003, the servers and operating systems worked well.
